M coupe

Looking to purchase a M coupe very shortly.
Not had time to have a sit in one yet, let alone drive one.
How are they inside for room? Im 6ft 2, and of quite a large build.

Appreciate the advice, oh and hello everyone! (first post)

Hello :)

If you have a quick look at this thread http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2868 you'll find that the only way to find out is to go and sit in one for yourself. The M seats are quite supportive, so you might struggle with them, it just depends.

I'm 6'3 and about 16st  and it's fine for me, although I would imagine another stone and the seats would be rather tight!

Im coming from a 997 4S, and that has more than enough room. Reading specs, the Z4, actually has slightly more than the porker, so should be fine. :)

Hope so, already ordered the CSL wheels and H&R springs.

The porker felt roomier to me, maybe due to the rear seats?

Ohh and if you don't fit, I'll take the CSL's off you for a knock down bargain price (they're second hand now :P )

Maybe easier to have the seat reclined in the porker due to the rear seats, yeah.
Im sure I'll be fine.

CSL's would sell for a profit on ebay. :P

Why did you get rid of the 997 C4S?? I am thinking of dumping the Z4M and going the opposite direction as you :|

Cant fault the Porsche in any way at all. Except you need to be ringing its neck to enjoy it.
Was buying a Gallardo, but then thought that I might be best waiting until the new one comes out later this year, to see what happens with rediduals. Just not the right time for me to drop 90-100k on a motor, so decided to go for something good value and fun for a year.
The Z4M coupe is a car I've always loved, and they are dirt cheap now, used buy.

The one im looking at is at Tolbar Volvo, 15.5k miles, 56 plate, sapphire black, red leather, hifi prof, sat nav, etc etc. Been offered it for 27k.
Looks a nice car.

Not really no. Interlagos blue cars going a bit cheaper, but really fancy one in black.
I really pity people that bought these thing new, unless you intend to keep it a long time.
The M5/M6 arent much better either. Market is completely on its arse.

Hi. I'm 6'0 and 210. I fit absolutely perfectly in the Z4MC, with enough headroom. You should have no problem at all. You will not want to get out of the car. :)

I know what you mean
Great fun car though
As for height, I am about 6'4/6'5. I could fit in the coupe fine, when my hair is spiked up it brushes the roof slightly so that prob adds another inch or so :D

Update, decided to give the Z4 a miss, depreciation is just too bad, so not for me.
Wheels and suspension cancelled.

Great car, but sinking 30k into one of these would be a bad move, in the current climate.

Lovely motors though. 8)
