M Coupe Trunk Measurement?

How large is the battery/tools/airpump cube in the trunk of the M Coupe?
Height, width, depth?

I swear I've seen this info posted here before, but I've been searching all morning for it, and can't find it.
A pointer to that discussion would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the help.
I'd just drop in on my local dealer, but they don't have any on the lot.

Probably saw the info on Bimmerfest in Palantiron's mod thread. He replace the whole battery compartment and battery a while back

Check online or the specs for the standard coupe and the M Coupe, the difference in cargo capacity will be the batery compartment, as it's the only difference.

In June I'm picking up an M Coupe at the Factory, and taking it for a 4000 mile drive home, and I need to "test pack" the trunk to see if I'm overpacking, underpacking, or this-porridge-is-just-right packing. I already own a 3.0si Coupe, so I wanted to be able to accurately subtract the battery box from my luggage space.

Maybe I'll see an M Coupe at Laguna Seca this Saturday, or next Wednesday, and I can measure then.

It's a sizeable chunk on the right 'Im afraid and makes packing more awkward!

:o why so big :? How come it isnt where the battery is on the roadster - under the floor (please excuse my dumbness)?

It' doesn't need to be as big as it is. With the cover off there is tons of room around the battery.

I laser-scanned my Z4 Coupe's trunk, and produced these highly accurate 3-Dimensional, ray-traced, fully-shaded, quicktime-VR renderings of the trunkspace of the Z4 (M) Coupe.

From these models, I should be able to successfully (over)pack for a 4000 mile road-trip. :driving:

Has anyone seen my crayons?

It's about the same in the roadster trunk with the M Mobility kit strapped to the top.
