///M coupe & Si coupe OE springs question

I thought that the si with M-springs was as low as a standard Z4M? An si with standard suspension should be about 15mm higher.

My thoughts too & ive just compared a measurement on front MC springs with front Si Sport springs ( both off the car ) & they are the same :?

Id just be careful if your contemplating using the M springs on a non M. Due to the M being quite a bit heavier the spring with be a different rating and would probably make a non M harder riding.

Just checked the brochures, std Z4 1299, ///M roadster 1302mm

STD Coupe 1268, ///M coupe 1287mm

As Mack points out above, even if the free length of the springs look to be the same, they could be different stiffnesses to account for different axle weights of M and non M cars. If the number of coils is the same, and the diameter of the ‘wire’ and the cool diameter matches then the springs would be mechanically identical. I suspect the M springs might be slightly thicker wire?

Just a thought, but would the different tyre profiles have an effect on overall height?

Bit it strange that there's only 3mm difference on the Roadster and 9mm on the Coupe. :?

Brochure doesn’t state what wheels so could be 17 or 18 inch on non ///M, as it does state 3.0si

Agree, not sure why such difference with coupe.
