M bumper skid plates

If lightning87 doesn't take the last set they're yours. I haven't ordered any more as the demand has pretty much been taken care of on the forum.

Just trace around then with cardboard and cut then out and place agaisnt them to check the fitment. Thats what the exhaust place i got mine made from did.

If that doesnt work i need to remove mine to respray them... I can do it for you.

Got my set delivered a while back - thanks T2FFN! :thumbsup:

Quick rubdown and a coat of Titanium Silver to help them blend in- bolted on & I now hope they never get used!!

As said, 2mm aluminium, although i'm considering making a set out of a perspex type material, which would be cheaper to produce and do the same thing.

yeah didnt really read the first post :oops: just skimmed through for a pic.

i guess for my pre face lift these may work too but would need to be longer across the bottom as it doesnt have the fangs.

perspex might be better as i noticed i actually have a divot in my bumper where a chunk has been taken out. i would worry that a metal one (although aluminium is quite soft) wouldnt be as forgiving and snag maybe dislodging the bumper or damaging brackets etc if cought on a rough road.
 
The skid plates deform without damaging the bumper. Well, on the 2 occasions i've really caught them they did. I'm 40mm lower and they have been used! Once when a large hole was hiding in the snow and another where two opposing slopes meet, so the nose goes down looking into an upward ramp... All it can do is ground out and scrub :( I now use the other work entrance as i damn near cant get over that section!?

come and have a drive about liverpool. if its not the holes of which there are so many the road might as well be called a track (i wouldnt call them pot holes as they are big enough to lose your car in) its the speed bumps. i would say 1/3 of the roads i drive on have speed bumps of varying sizes. There are some roads i cant even drive down now its just not worth the hassle. but i guess thats a different story.
 
Any news? as last time i heard something was 21st of april.

Don't knowhow of hè is om Hollyday or something but i've scrapped my bumper à few times, so i'm wanting to get these in my hands :)
