I am back! I think she did want to kidnap me. Got me in her car and went off. Took a left when my buddies had taken a right!!

Did not see a single hog :( - Saw a bunch of Cardinals and Bluebirds. Also had 4 woodland ducks land in front of me. Thought about going duck huntin' but I had a 300 Win Mag and there would not have been much to eat - plus fni told me that it is illegal to shoot woodland ducks. Having a 300 Win Mag saved my bacon. I am sure I saw a gator behind my stand but my 2 buddies were making fun of me - they do not believe me. It was well past dark and I looked around my stand to make sure there were no snakes on the ground. I saw a set of yellow eyes in tyhe swamp with my flashlight. These eyes submerged into the water. Then a beaver scared the heck out of me. The was a loud wack in the water and I saw water moving. Found out later that it was only a beaver :oops:

On a separate note. It sure was hot in Georgia. 34 F in the am and even HOTTER in the afternoon. fni showed up wearing a pair of gloves and then proceeded to break the law 4 times in her car. The offenses included a rolling stop, 2 illegal turns and driving faster than the posted limit.

I will post pictures later. I am just pooped and it's off to bed for this young'un.

They speed, run red lights, and don't even slow down for stop signs!

Enfield, I told you; I was merely executing safe, experienced vehicle maneuvers necessary to get us to our final destination in the alloted time :D .

I think one of the Mod's should change the title of this thread to "Enfield's Red Neck Adventures" - "Aintry - You can't get to Aintry from here"... "This river don’t go to Aintry. You done taken a wrong turn."

The funniest part was breakfast at the "Huddle House". I saw a piggy there because Tommy was eating bacon :D . Anyway - Tommy (the guy whose land we hunted on) mentioned that they did not like dem Canadians too much because they were a bunch of cats (aka pu$$ys). I asked him was it because we didn't go to Iraq because we did go to Afghanistan. He was quite apologetic at that and tried to take his foot out of his mouth and said - yeah, maybe Canadians are not such big pu$$ys. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
