Lump in third gear?

Is it usual that sometimes it feels like there's a lump 'in the way' of third gear? I have to back off and push again then it's fine. It only does this rarely.
 
Thanks - is that terminal? It's an AUC so I have the full warranty.

Edit: Found this old thread which suggests it might be engine mounts...I'll keep a closer note on the conditions under which it happens. http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52981&start=15
 
As scooba said buddy
If synchro it'll wear and break down and eventually not allow access to gear over time
If warrantied get it in !
As box out n open and replace job
