Been an expensive ten days. Did a track day a week ago last Friday. Beforehand I treated the car to some new brake fluid and removed the cdv.
Track day was great, Abingdon Airfield and the car didn't miss a beat. Did go through a virtually new set of pads and killed off the cheap and (in the wet) nasty rear tyres that were new when I bought the car 8 months ago.
So whilst putting the new pads on I noticed both rear springs were snapped so replaced those to, along with new bridgestones at the rear. Oil and filters obviously.
Roof motor had failed about a week before the track day and after reading up on here Number 5 sorted it for me yesterday. Nice guy to spend a couple of hours chatting to whilst he showed me just what a bad design the motor housing really is!
Then to add to the mounting costs some #### knocked my offside wing mirror off. Can't find a replacement at the moment either.
All starting to add up. Lucky it still puts such s big smile on my face!
