Lubrication of latch motor shafts and roof latches

I have noted roof latch motor on final closure and latching onto front windscreen frame is a little noisy.
Was wondering how to and with what to lube shaft drives from motor and latch pivots,also how best to remove motor cowl cover from roof to access above.
