Anyone on here? Perhaps not as the 'M' badge Police would have taken action if it was a forum member.

Seems all at odds. Ring badge on the boot, but run on LPG (heavy tank, lower power, etc.) for economy.

£6,500 for a 2004 2.5 on 105k seems optimistic, but you never know.

I'm on LPG but MORE discreetly! Modern sequential systems see no noticeable loss in power - and if you really want you can run on petrol. Drive to the ring on LPG for around 60% of the cost of petrol in traffic at a steady cruising speed, hammer it round the ring on Optimax

The tank weighs around 15-20kg.

Like mentioned, each to their own :driving:

Then it must be tiny. On my Jeep my tank is 30kg. 80 litres of gas 45kg in a 100l tank and another 15kg of valves, piping, and expansion system. Total 85kg

BTW - for high mileage I think it's a great idea. Not so convinced on sports cars.

34 litres, good for 180 miles on average so yes it's small.

I agree that in an ideal world I wouldn't need to run 1 car that does everything but I do high miles and wanted to keep my sports car and LPG was the only solution. No regrets from me :driving:

How much does a full petrol tank weigh?
