Lower profile Tyres size for 224s - Z4M

Needed to get some new tyres for the Z4M. Currently running MPSS, they have lasted about a year but yesterday's track day has finished them off. They have been through too many heat cycles I think.

I am running 265/40 at the rear and 235/45 up front. The tyres were awesome but I think they look a bit too big and 'balloony'. So I'm looking for something a bit lower profile. Getting MPSS in standard sizes isn't possible though. Any suggestions on the best sizes to go for, for the most pleasing to the eye look.

Don't think really want to go down the 19" route. Although if I can source some cheap enough 19" with decent rubber then I may go for them and use the standard 224s for track work.

PSS are available in standard sizes - although the difference between the radius of a 265/40 and 255/40 is only 4mm.

If you want to remove more then you'd probably have to find another tyre in a 265/255 35 profile as PSS aren't available, but that would also make your speedo under-read more than the OE sizes.
