Low hanging exhuast

shibby!

Hi guys

I have a bit of a low hanging exhuast, not massively just a little on both sides with one a little more than the other.

I have had the underneath cover off and they are all hanging on their mounts ok. Do these mounts have a tendency to sag at all?

It's a not really noticeable that bad, but I notice it and it's irritating me.

Thanks
Nick

I have mine mounted on ///M mounts and they are made of 2 parts, rubber donut with a metal internal band in them. Long story, but when I had my quad ///M system fitted several years ago the metal inners fatigued off leaving the exhausts on just the rubber donut.

Result was they were then too low, so all replaced and exhaust adjusted. Been perfect since.

Possible you have the same issue with the metal having broken, so would check and consider replacing all 4 (2 for each back box)

Not cheap though

The mounts are tight to the body, the rubber inside is in ok condition but they do wobble a little, that's interesting about the insides.

I'll go check how much they are.... I'm guessing 20 bucks each and can replace myself.

It's not your exhaust flanges failing is it? When mine went on one side that the way the tailpipes sat.

Good idea, I will check it out.

To be honest it all looks tight under there any movement looks like it's coming from the mounts rather than any joints.

I ordered a pair of mounts, 50 bucks or so, and some of my time is worth a shot.
