I’ve had a search on this subject but can’t fine anything from the last few years. Any recommendations.

Thanks.

TRW low dust pads are excellent IME (as long as they do them for your car).

Apologies to throw a cat amongst the pigeons, I have ATE ceramic on my car and really don't like them - the braking is pretty poor..

They don't squeal and dust is low if not transformational though.

Mine don’t squeal and the dust is a million times better than Brembos or OE pads. They need need the brakes to be bleed really really well. On my old 335i they were good but in my wife’s 330i they’re really sharp but I spent ages bleeding the brakes on the that car.

I installed Textar ePads, front and rear, last Spring. I got them upon advice from Z4-Forum members, and I've been very pleased. They are ceramic, but designed to come close to semi-metallic pads. The stopping power seems very good, and they have been good in the wet. My wheels no longer need to be cleaned every day :)

I bought my E89 from Pondrew. So I am assuming the front brake pads are TRW as he recommends. They are excellent and produce very little dust. The difference in dust production between front and rear which are the standard type is very marked.
