Low Beam Headlights too Low?

Since the start of this winter I have noticed that the low beam headlights on my 2015 Z4 appear to be too low compared with the other cars I drive. I do not remember them being so low last winter. I friend of mine had a similar problem with Xenon headlights on a Mazda where there was sensor that detected the level of the car and adjusted the low beam accordingly. This feature was supposed to reduce dazzling other on coming drivers.
Does the E89 Z4 have this feature and it is likely I have a fault?

Hi Mike
Yes the E89 does have self levelling h/lamps, my 2015 28i is going into the stealers for the second time to have this issue fixed

I had same issue and it was too low , adjusted mine manually few days ago. so far so good though no one flashing at me :)

Easy to test the leveller, just accelerate hard and as the front of the car rises the headlamps will lower and rise back up as you slow down.
Look to the rear of the lamps with bonnet up, there is a white hexagon shaped hole, turn that it adjusts the level.

Thanks for the replies. I will do some more research before I go to the dealers (car is still under warranty but I would like to understand more about the issues so I do not get conned and be better prepared for the future).

I have been able to simply fix the problem following some research on other forums. There is a sensor on the rear driver's side suspension and its mechanism can get hung up, after going over a big bump in the road, thus telling the car to dip the headlights as low as possible.

The solution is easy. Just unbolt the sensor (close to the inboard mounting of the wishbone) and then let the mechanism hang down and it untangles itself. Redo the sensor bolts. Job done.

It might do it again when I go over a big bump.

Also I have noticed to reduce being flashed at always keep the lenses clean by wiping over.
The washer aren't that effective.
