Lovin this on-line Christmas Shopping

My family owns, arguably the oldest established business in the UK. Its called Arnisons its a clothes shop and was established in 1742. Prides itself on a personal service and it sells hand made clothing and accessories, as well as dressware bedding etc etc. Mens and womens, tweed... good stuff.
They have just gone online, which aids sales. But really sometimes going to the store and talking to people and getting a good service and checking out the product is always better IMO.
Although because its a specialist shop, and there aren't many left the internet hasn't deterred sales, we have people coming from all over the country and also a lot of international sales.
Shame that the high street is disappearing. All these once great market towns are now populated with pubs, charity shops and supermarkets and most family trades are dead or dying.
The place is so old that there are many stories, because it is right on what was once the border of scotland.. Bonnie Prince Charlie once ransacked the town on his way south on some crusade and apparently had my Great great + 5 generation grandad at gun point for a pair of longjohns lol!!

A word of caution when shopping online, make sure the site you are visiting is a real site and not a fake.
I was purchasing some Thomas Sabo charms online for SWMBO, when I noticed a few odd spelling mistakes so i checked out the site with
http://www.scamadviser.com
only to find that the site I was on was in the Russian Federation, had only been in existence for 3 months and had a very high possibility of being a fake.
It was very convincing, having exactly the same look as the real site.
So be warned!!

So I know where to go now when I buy a suit and I know to not steal any parcels being delivered to Beedub, although the risk might be worth it with all the nice car parts he buys. :lol:
I hate going out shopping, Christmas is so much easier with the Internet. Half my supermarket shopping is done online now too, a couple of quid for delivery or a few quid in fuel to get there and risk car park dings, easy choice.
