Hi
Just picked up my 'new' Black 2010 Z4 2.3i on Fri 22 Aug. Absolutely love it!!! Even able to have the hood down on my weekend in Anglesey... First time ever owned a 2 seater, children all grown up now with their own cars, so no need for a family saloon.
Here's to many years of exciting driving!!!!

Hi and welcome.

So you've got a black Zed - clearly a man of the utmost good taste. Whatever anyone says, don't fall into the stubby aerial trap - there's a lot of people out there who will try to lure you! :o

A few pictures would be nice - indeed a few pictures are obligatory. :D

Hi and welcome to the forum

Your zed sounds great and nice to hear your enjoying the experience

Lookng forward to seeing some pics soon I hope :poke:

Hi again.... I'll try and get some pics posted. My other question was about the 'stubby' but I think I now know the answer!!!!!!

Yes, the answer is 'get a stubby' :poke:

Hi ..... Only had my zed a couple of days then came on holibobs for 2 weeks (still on holiday)... Missing the car like hell!!!!!!!
Just catching up on the forum and saw a post about potential problems. Somebody mentioned about the hood & 'to keep the drains clear'. Now I'm not very mechanically minded, I just buy the car & drive it!!!!!!!!!. Can somebody advise me what to look for?
Thanks
Steve

There are a lot more experienced folk than me on the forum, but I have only read about drain issues on E85s, not the E89s.

When I said in an earlier posting that some pictures would be nice, I didn't mean holiday snaps, so you didn't need to go away and leave your Zed! :P

Lol..... I'll have to read the thread again on 'How to post pictures'..... It does seem I little long winded though!!!!!
Not long now until I'm reunited!!!!!!

Looking forward to your (car) pictures.

The instructions for getting them up on here do look rather long, but believe me when I say that I found it really easy and quick, and I am a total techno numpty.
