Like that - the basic level S2 is amazing value. Also love your fleet of colour-coordinated cars.

One thing I notice though - you mentioned selling because you missus doesn't like getting in. Is that the process of getting in/out or the interior (or both)? It's not that much easier to get into a Zed than an Elise!

GLWTS. :)

Cheers mrpt, once you are in its surprisingly comfy-it's the getting in&out that's the issue, the sill on the Elise is considerably higher than the seat, it's wide as well.
You don't get that on the z4, so while it's still a low driving position you don't have the obstacle to climb over! What makes it worse for the passenger is no steering wheel to lever off, you can't hang onto the windscreen frame either as it's a hollow plastic tube filled with expandofoam & can break.

A friend brought a z4 last weekend & I had a good look, it's nowhere near as difficult to access

So what Z4 are you going for?

Hi, I initially wanted a z3 but a good one is priced almost as high as a z4, then a friend got a z4 2.5 sport recently which I think is a great car, I like the compromise between economy & performance.
I am looking at ads at the moment but don't really want to buy until my Elise is sold.
Regards

Yeah, you are right I guess. The wide sills and more bucket-like seats make it harder.

And, of course, we gents don't need to be "ladylike". :D

Very nice indeed. Got any interior shots?

Hi inkeys, I could email you some? I don't have a photobucket thingymabob & when I tried uploading straight to here it says to many pixels? I'm hopeless at computering hence I just put the link to my ad in here! (That's about my limit)

Try using a site called imageshack or tinypic. Both offer forum links to your pictures you simply copy and paste here.

I've edited the pistonheads ad to include a couple of interior shots, think I need to lie down now :|

Oh the temptation to go back to Elises!! But I fear I may run into a similar with SWMB. She's not that confident in the Z4, so would probably just not drive an Elise. Lovely car GLWTS!

Dream car.

Want a direct swap with a z4 not even worth half that?

Good luck with the sale! One day i will own one of these.

Smartbear: you not after a 3.0? Economy is much the same as 2.5; give or take, but with the bonus horses.

I went straight for the 3.0i

Only getting around 2mpg less than my 2.0 Clio.

The economy on Z's seem really good. Excluding M's haha

Hmm, I keep thinking about this! I've read that the 2.5 is a little more keen to rev which sounds appealing-is there a marked difference? I've not driven any yet so don't know?
Thanks for the positive comments guys!
