Yes, a weak battery can cause all manner of strange electrical behaviour. I still think the brake/idle thing is a leak and not electrical, though I allow it could somehow be electrical. Has anyone tested the servo itself for leaks? If the diaphragm has perished, no outward leaks may be apparent, but it will not hold vacuum when tested.

As for the flashlights, they are untrustworthy with a weak battery. Some of them could mean something in combination, but others are completely unrelated. It's not worth trying to make anything of them until the battery is known healthy. If it's not the battery itself, some faulty wiring or similar must be at play, as such lights occurring together is highly unlikely for any usual problem
.
Full agree with you buddy. We know there is worthless a light if it has weak battery. Make sure to provide a good battery and must be check it before final delivery.

already had the battery tested and it was fine! just had this posted on Bimmerfest! any thoughts?

Long shot here: I've heard of the trunk lid wire harness having several broken wires right at the hinge that causes some strange behavior when the brakes are applied. You might want to open the rubber sleeve and have a look. BMW also recommends removing the middle plastic clip on that harness.
