Those bits are also listed individually on eBay at £20 each plus delivery. Seller is martinkey1.

Is it not real wood then as the ones in the photos all look different?
Real wood veneer. There’s a number of different types inc. mahogany, plane tree etc.
 
I can see why people like it as it harks back to the older traditional roadsters, I always wanted it in my MGB. Now days it is possible to buy a set for MBGs so why is it so frowned upon for Z4s? They have it in the E89 and no one complains.

It just looks out of place in an E89 Z4 which is a fairly modern day car, IMHO of course. Each to their own!

Didn't realise there were so many colours of wood trim. I've got this sat on my shelf if anyones after a set.
