Looking to buy a Z4

Hi all,

I just sold my 1988 911 and miss driving a convertible already! I must say that I have never really liked bmw's, but the z4 has gotten me intrigued. Can you guys tell me what to look for when buying one of these? Are there design flaws with certain years?

I am looking towards the 2003-2005 most likely. I have read you have to check out the motor for the top etc. What else should I be looking at?

Do you recommend the 2.5 or 3.0?
