Couple of questions,

Its been a while since I've looked but are people still experiencing issues with the HVA's? If so, is this covered /sorted by BMW Insured Warranty?

also, any issues with the Auto box?

I've currently got a 120d Coupe (Sedona red) but only do about 10k miles a year so thinking of trading it in for a Z4 Coupe.
 
get on board the coupe train mate :thumbsup: still smitten with the looks & performance of my 3.0Si
from posts on here & from my own research my answers to your questions would be
HVA / not heard of it affecting many cars at all
autobox / not heard of any problems whatsoever

Although the 120d Coupe is a nice car I fancy something a bit more sporty.

Looking for the perfect spec so not going to rush this time - although given the amount for sale it might take some time anyway.

20 - 30k miles, Xenon's, FBMWSH, Sat Nav, Bluetooth, 208's, black interior - exterior colour blue, grey, silver or black.

I've seen the thread about the rear carbon diffuser but what about the boot spoiler? Is that still available and has anyone bought one recently?

nice list of wants :) i can tick most of your boxes apart from the mileage :P & the 208,s ? not sure they are a standard Z wheel ?

Sorry, yes I meant 108's.

Not overly fussed about Sat Nav either but I think it finishes the dash looks.
 
208's are on the 1 series so guess that's where you got that from :wink:

HAV's are one of those thing that if it hasn't affected you, you might not be too aware of it. If your looking at a car anywhere try and make sure you are with it when they start from cold. If it's at a dealer good chance it's been standing a few days so may show if there is an issue. Dealers aren't keen to do anything about it though unless you can demonstrate it to them.

Someone fitted a carbon rear spoiler recently. There's one in ebay at the moment. Not cheap mind. I think someone ended up with a dodgy one from ebay recently, ie hollow
