Looking for Steering coupling (Z4M)

Does anyone know of any sites other than the usual suspects, where I might source BMW part number 32-30-7-836-809, the steering coupling required when installing hydraulic PAS to E85 non Z?

Buying new is last resort as it is a lot of money in relation to the cars value, and the hope was to keep the conversion costs as low as possible.

I've read a few people sourcing from Germany, but I do not have clue how to search Ebay.de or whatever and wonder if any kindly tech-savvy person might be able to help this Luddite!

Thanks in advance,

Iain

Sadly it is rare secondhand part. There are two one is RHD and one is LHD so trying to find a RHD one in Gemany will be almost impossible.
From a member in the USA this is what he advised....

"The E46 steering shaft will not work (length is different). You will either need a steering shaft from a Z4M or an aftermarket E46 shaft (ex: Vorshlag) but with the length adjusted to work with the Z4.

I made my own using two FR1968 - 17mm-54 X 3/4"-36 Chrome Moly from Flaming River.

I then used a 36 spline shaft that was 13" long. Lock the top nut down, leave the bottom lose. This lets the shaft slide on the splines and prevents beating up the u-joint as the body flexes."
