Looking for help in Oxfordshire - INPA or DIS (fault reading

Morning all,

I'm having trouble finding someone in the Oxfordshire area, that works Saturdays/Sundays with the proper equipment to plug in and see if I have any fault codes. I've tried all the recommended garages on here (with the exception of the main dealer) so I was hoping that someone localish (don't mind driving for a while) might have the software and wouldn't mind me popping over and plugging in? I don't mind paying for your time or donate to the forum/charity of your choice.

if you were closer then i would help!!

have you tried disconnecting the battery and leave it off for 30 mins to clear codes. if the fault comes back then you have an issue. DIS v57 (software) can check all codes in memory and tell you whats wrong, you can clear codes as well.

Is there anywhere I can get the software and install it myself? (I'm quite computer literate). And I assume you just get a USB to ODB cable and run the software? Sorry for all the questions, I've only had the car a fortnight

I am sure there will be someone on soon that will help. I know off someone in midlands. But i don't want offer up there time!! I could have possibly helped if it was a mechanical problem. I personally think you should get the softwhere cables yourself. But that's purely so you can take a look at mine.

Am i right you can change other things like window and roof shutting and folding mirrors with that softwhere???
