Looking for a Z4m Coupe or Z4 Coupe - MINI GP1 SAWP/PART EX

Hello, I'm looking for a Z4m Coupe or Z4 Coupe, not too fussed on mileage as long as the history is good. Manual if it's the Z4 Coupe.

I have a MINI GP1 that I would be interested in part exchanging or swapping (the car is for sale so may sell first)
It's a very rare car and having been fully restored a couple of years ago it's immaculate, I value it at around £12,500-13000 - 106k miles

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Having owned two 3.0Si Coupes before I got my M Coupe there is a massive difference between them even though they look pretty similar!

I'd recommend trying them both before you decide which one to go for. I've always thought the 3.0Si was 80% of the car for 50% of the money, but at current prices maybe it's more like 60% of the cost. Not surprisingly running costs are way higher for the M.

I've driven lots of E46 M3's before so I know the M engine well, if a well priced Z4m Coupe came up at I would be going for that, but on the other hand if a lower mileage Z4 Coupe came up I would happily have that in the garage.

If you have experience of M3s you'll know about the pricey Inspection services on the M then. Bear in mind Road Tax is now £760 a year on an MC.

As you say it is a bit head v heart. When I bought my 3 litres my limitation was budget, but after an inheritance an MC became inevitable. :lol:
