Looking for a Z4C concerned about HVA issue

Hi All

As above, looking for a Z4 sport coupe, just doing some research and the HVA issue is making me nervous, currently own an e46 330ci which has been faultless over the last 4 years. Should I hold out for a car thats had a new head and HVAs or is it worth a gamble? I'll most likely be buying private.

Also if it's a later car it might not have the issue, although I can't remember when they rectified it from the factory.
