Look what has happened to my lovely new A1

My neighbour spotted it and brought it to my attention. Not easy to see with the white paintwork and I had been using the Zed over Christmas/New Year so hadn't noticed. I think it happened during the recent gale force winds when a wheelie bin fell on it. :x

Pretty sure Dent Devils will be able to push it back out from behind and fortunately the paint isn't cracked and there are no deep creases.

I'm really hating a lot of things about this country at the moment. :headbang:

gutted, this is 1 of those things you just spot and never know when or when it happened

MIne had suffered a skin deep scar across the top of the wing after Storm 'C***ybaws'.... Not so cheap to repair...... :headbang: Unfortunately I have no other car to fall back on.....

Sorry mate.... It's probably no consolation but it could have been the Z.

Makes me worried about leaving my car parked so close to the end of my drive on rubbish collection day.

Oh bugger that would be enough to bring me to tears, you can't really get angry with the weather.....unless you have spent a small fortune on winter rubber in the mildest winter since well....ever.

Anyway sorry to see the damage, hope you get it fixed easily and cheaply. What is the silver car next to the A1?

Had the very same on our Hyundai, dent bloke came down removed the plastic panel behind and massaged it out with 'coat hanger tools'-did a great job.

Thanks for all the comments.

I've used Dent Devils before on the Zed, and the guy worked magic with various coat hanger type tools to push it out from behind (going up from the wheel arch)! That was a tricky job as the rear panel on the Zed is double skinned, but it was a first class repair. Even my dad commented, you would have never known there was a dent there....! :D

I think they should be able to get to the dent on the Audi from the compartment that stores the warning triangle. I've emailed them some pics and should hopefully hear back tomorrow.

sars, that is my neighbours silver SLK 200 (new model, 11 plate) :)

:(

Sorry to see that. Hope you get it sorted ok.

A colleague of mine at work escaped damage to her car before Christmas. But her neighbours car was badly damaged. He neighbour got it back, only to receive another dose of damage just last week by a fallen fence :headbang:

Right, update... I phoned Stephen Liddle from SL Dent Repair this morning:

http://www.sldentrepair.co.uk/

He came out to my work just after lunch and 30 minutes later, the dent was gone. Not a trace or mark anywhere, nothing... a perfect job. I'm delighted and would highly recommend him.

The A1 is looking in great condition again!

What's this about a key cover? Is it the leather cover, you can get them in white... about £30 ? :?
