Can anyone in this area advise me where to head (presumably in a South Westerly direction) to find any half decent driving roads ?

My neck of the woods.....In answer to your question....nowhere really,.....sorry :(

Richmond, get out on the A3 south and once you are out of the M25 ring you have the Dorking area etc.

Thanks Pvr

Nick, I did mean to invest about 20 mins to half an hour travelling to get there. I know it's pretty much gridlock around here! Cheers.

My neck of the woods too.

Burn down the A3 for a good, clear run, then most of Surrey is a good laugh.

As above, some great roads around Dorking.

East Horsley to Dorking over Ranmore Common is a super road, though drive carfully in the day as many tightening and blind corners that are safer at night with headlights.

My old neighbourhood. I bought my first soft top and big bike around the winsdor great forrest. Approach from the A3 or A4 or direct from Windsor. Roads built for sticky rubber...just look out for horses and horse s**t :driving:

The M3 is quite a good relaxing cruise.

Avoid anything further in towards the city, anything further north of the A4 and anything inside the M25 really!!

SW only then I guess of us.. (im close by Richmond).
