That's the way I see it. One major national charity, that does excellent work, apparently had 1000 runners competing today. That can't be right. My gripe is the with the entry system that's changed over the last few years where individuals who don't qualify under the 'Good for Age' criteria only have an outside chance of getting a place. Many might not wish to raise money for a large national charity preferring a local smaller charity or worthy cause such as the children's ward at their local hospital therefore it's these people that unfortunately lose out.
