Anyone going to this? It's at Excel in docklands, huge place, indoors so weather isn't an issue. I went last year and really enjoyed it, lots of lovely cars and not just classics, there was a Carrera GT and LaFerrari amongst other things. I'll be going with a mate on the Friday 24th if anyone's up for it.

Did wonder about it, but living outside of the South-West London borders the location put me off!

Docklands is just so inaccessible out of commuting hours that it may as well be the NEC (another miserable venue nowhere anywhere near where most of the UK population lives).

Never mind, Earls Court is being demolished so the 40+% of the UK population living in the South East can now (given there is no choice  ) waste their time travelling to the East End, Birmingham, or any other sh*thole that offers incentives!! I'm out.

Is that a no then?
Not a fan I'm guessing, I was really looking to see if people who WERE interested in going, not who weren't, but if course good sir you are entitled to your opinion.

I for one, enjoyed said s**t hole, and that's my incentive to go again this year. For that reason it's not a waste of time for me, but thanks for your input!

You are right - not a fan myself!

But I hope you enjoy it.

Come and say hello, I will be in the Motorsport Hall on the Classic Sports Car Club stand, with a nice cream coloured 1960s Porsche 911. :)

Will be sure to look you up. That Porshe is a real appreciating classic, the only one I managed to own was a 944.

I was kindly invited to go back in 2015 for the gala event. Loads of great metal there and some really good focused stuff, it was Adrian Newey's cars that year iirc. Annoyed to have missed the Gordon murray expo last year, and the 70 years of Ferrari this year will probably have some rather nice stuff... See you guys there hopefully :D

Thank you for drawing my attention to this. It'll be a journey to get there and, as the saying goes,
"it's not the destination, but the journey getting there, that's the fun of it" or something like that. :tumbleweed:
So count me in, although we may not meet, it's been a pleasure.

Hi Dave
Nice to chat with you yesterday. Great show, completely different from the NEC version, a highlight being the parade of cars and the noise!!!
Hope to bump into you a Brands Hatch
