hi guys having my runflats changed on thursday and can't believe i have lost the locking wheel nut does anybody know the part no for it,a 2003 2.5 tried looking on bmwfans.info but can't the part no for the locking wheel nut only cheers

I have been told that most tire changing places seem to "accidently" keep the lock nut keys. Its possible that you could find one that way. If you have the OEM BMW locking lugs, I wonder if they are all the same. I had been told that they were. I don't have my 2003 anymore, but I am sure somewhere I have the spare key. Even if I can find it, it won't help you in the timeframe unless you live close to Los Angeles, Calif. Try your BMW dealer. Ask them if you could try one of the OEM keys and if necessary, you could buy the whole set if it fits, that is. Just thinking here, its also possible that the service dept would have what you need as well.

or buy the kit advertised in Autocar every week for "removing " a wheel lock apparently every Garage should have one ....and maybe the tyre place have one
Just remember to have a replacement bolt

Take your z 4 to a bmw dealer, the parts dept have a master set which they will try out on your car to find the correct one.The key is only about £6 to buy.

as maxman said... take it to the dealer. there are only 20 different lock types, so they'll try each one until they find the right 'key' and can sell you another one.

I was told by my garage when i thought i had lost mine that if all else fails they can just smash them off and you would just need to get a replacement set to stick back on.

spoke to main stealer today and they will let me have one from there master set for £8 and they will order another to replace that one
