Locking Petrol cap...

Silly question probably, but I locked my Z4M the other day whilst I was washing it, then realised I could open the petrol cap.

I can hear something switching near the petrol cap when it locks and nothing looks broken but it's clearly not working.

Can someone just confirm it's definitely supposed ?

Struggling to remember now, but I thought there was a little "knob" that slid out when you locked it and held the door closed :idunno:

Mine is not an M but the flap locks, you can see it move when locking the car.

Just had a quick try of mine (crikey it's cold in the garage tonight )

Yep, the petrol cap flap definitely locks when I lock the car using the key-fob.

It should lock and if it doesn't work it will fail an MOT!!!!!

Should be an easy fix under warranty though.
