Live Earth

These things are always crap! Live aid was the only good one!

I dont get what's going on now... Madonna and a load of pikeys!

Then there was the band that "played" in Antarctica. WTF was that about. This is so lame I put on a Bonanza rerun. Funny how none of those brothers looked anything alike nor did they look like Dad. :|

Just saw some woman in Shanghai singing nessun dorma... not too bad. I much prefer that sort of music to Linkin Park, or whatever they're called :?

Think I'm getting old!...

Nah, I don't think it is age. The quality of these bands are crap. Used to be that they sold albums because they had some talent to actually make an entire album. Then the labels thought about the Napster situation and lost sales (not sure they had much to lose in the first place). This awakened the concept that hell they only need to sell one track at a time, so now we get millions of songs pushed on us by mostly crap talentless acts. Even urban/gangsta/hiphop tanked last year.

KT Tunstall was on a while back.. she was pretty good... for some reason dressed up like Jill Masterson in Goldfinger, but what the hell, she's got a good voice and has actually managed to produce a full album of good stuff :D

Quite a few of the acts were outdated, superceded or downright embarrassing.

Roger Waters: I mean wtf, his best stuff is 30 years old. He should go live on some long boat in Cheshire somewhere.

Police: Tighter than ever, great stuff. High light...everything, low point, Kanye (I got nuttin' witout my ho's) West.

DMB: Christ, they are getting better with age.

Alicia Keys: Hawt AND talented. Set w/Urban was perfection.

IMHO, of course.
