The V range is excellent, have you used them before?

I've had an influx of new products recently, just not had chance to take a snap

No - I haven't used them before but I thought it was worth a try given that I can still see an amount of swirling so I'm intending on using MF pads and v32 most likely and I understand Santa is bringing the 50cal glaze for me so I reckon I'll give it another go next year now. The lacquer must be incredibly hard, however, as the swirls are nigh on impossible (to date) to remove.... very frustrating. I think it's the drying where I'm going wrong so I'm thinking about some kind of rainwater/compressed air solution to that particular issue. Failing which, possibly a pro-detail at exorbitant cost next year... :x

What machine polisher have you got?

If you're near me (Skipton area) I can come give you a hand or some advice on correcting the paintwork if you'd like?

A metro air blaster would be what you'd need once the paintwork has been corrected if worried about swirls or a plush drying towel such as Auto Finesse Aqua Deluxe (auto brites is exactly the same but dearer) and dab dry.

That's a kind offer and I may well take you up on it at a later date - I'm north Leeds so not too far away. I've got the DAS Pro DA polisher - I like it and I can't really do too much harm with it but I think it lacks some cut sometimes. I'd been thinking of upgrading or maybe p/x-ing and getting the newer DAS machine (forget it's name but it looks like a Rupes). Anyway, plenty of things to consider as always... :driving:

If your budget can stretch to it I'd highly recommend the Flex 3401, it is still a DA however it's more of a hybrid with almost the same cutting ability a Rotary but with the security of a DA. Priced between £250 and £300. You could most likely be able to sell your DA for around £100.

North Leeds isn't too bad, by all means let me know next year (sounds odd saying that)
