Hi All,

i have had my Z4 for a couple of weeks now and i really want to modify it, but am holding back as i did this to my last car and lost loads on money. my last car was a show car for a graphics company called Likwidart. they make one off hand made 3D graphics, i had a lot done to my last car, but the Z4 is not the sort of car for graphics. so my question is, what would you say if i was to make up a new BMW badges for the front and rear plus ones to go on the side indicators? i was also going to have my 3.0i and Z4 badge done in the same colour as the car, so that it gives the effect that the body work has been pressed out. i was also thinking of a brake light cover, we did this for the toyota supra and celica, i have attached some photos and would like some feed back. i was thinking the words BMW-Z4 so when you brake the red will show through, we could also do M-sport.

also can anyone tell me if the side badge 3.0i and the Z4 badge are just stuck on or have they got pins that will leave holes in the body.

would like to hear your thoughts before i spend money making these bits up, as we may have interest and i can ask him to do a group buy.

I would be extremely keen on side repeater badges! The work from Likwidart looks good too. I could possibly be tempted by front and rear ones eventually too. 100% on the side repeater badges though. :thumbsup:
 
the 3.0i badges are stuck on, as is the z4 on the boot.
the front badge is bolted in, the rear is a push fit
the two sides are stuck onto the indicator plastics.

not my cup of tea, but I can see people liking this :)
 
thanks for the feed back. the side ones have two pins that come from the plastic if im right? if so i may need to shave them off so that its flat to mount the likwidart one. i will be asking if the BMW badge can be the same as the original, i think the only bit that will be different is the chrome rings in the badge. it will be a black ring with chrome BMW then the blue and white inserts. keep the feed back coming good or bad. i will speak to Rob at Likwidart and see if i can get a set made up for my car and fit them first. if you like it then we already have the pattern made up for more to be made.
 
I quite like this effect , I might be interested in buying something , keep us updated buddy.
 
the 3rd brake light cover will be the last on the list to be made. i will be going to see Rob at the end of this month so he can take the sizes of all the badges. i have just replaced my 3rd light with a clear one so can drop off the old one for him to play with. as for prices will not know yet until he works them out. its all done on how long it takes to make them up. every colour in the BMW badge will be separate pieces then put on a black backing so it can be fitted as one badge.

Was thinking the same, would of looked "well good" on nova merit GSI lookalike lol
