Lightweight OEM alloy options

I’m looking at wheel options for my E85, which is currently on 224’s.

I like the 224’s, but I’m wondering what lightweight OEM options there may be from other BMW models.

It seems there are a number of ‘forged’ options, so thought it was worth asking if anyone has experience?

I realise CSL ‘style’ alloys look great, but I believe neither the original or reps are particularly light.

I also realise that wheels like Apex are light, but was hoping to keep it OEM (BMW not Z4 specific)

Style 32 staggered 18s off a E46 are the only OEM wheel that is noticeably lighter than any of the others , ive had a few sets of these , ive had gen CSLs & ive had Apex Arcs , the 32s are lighter than them all for some bizarre reason  ( not the 17s or the ones off 7 series though )

That’s helpful, not sure about the look of Style 32’s on an E85... although 18’s is the size I’d be looking at

The 18” 405M winter wheels from the f30 3 series fit well. 8x18” square set up with ET34 offset (so like 13mm spacers on the rear and 16mm on front - think that way around). I’m running 10mm spacers on the rear too and it looks good. These wheels are forged so are light - 9.2kg each I believe. I’m running 225/45/18 Michelin pilot super sports all round and works well. Doesn’t look as chunky on the rear as 255s but the increased neutrality in handling makes up for it. I have consciously gone for 45 section tyres (same as M cars) for better absorption of road imperfections. As a package it works really well. Pics below (excuse the Le Mans stickers)
