I think the 108's are looked upon as the "signature" wheel for the z4. Yes they do suffer from corrosion issues but if you are a little handy you can pick some up cheap and refurb them yourself! There are several guides in the how-to section of the forum and it is quite easy to do if you are prepared to put as little time into it. I think most of the corrosion issues can be largely mitigated by using some waxoil when you reassemble the rims.

Nice Z and nice colour but I may be biased!

Welcome to the forum, Liam! I had a £1000 excess too when I first got the Z  It's cheaper now though.
108's are definiteley the sexiest wheels for the Z but they're not without problems. Just have to look after them!

I really dont fancy the hassel of refurbing, its a shame :-(

I did realise quite quickly i would be young compared to many here, quite different to the saxo website i used to frequent on. (im not a rich kid btw) just saved for a while...

Thanks for the latest welcomes. Does anyone here go to car shows throughout the year?

So today while drying out my boot due to a leak (all carpet stripped out and had the girlfriends hair dryer helping me) I decided to fix my annoying rattling PS A pillar. Quite easy to take off and the I just padded it with an old bank statement folded up. Now it fits snug and doesn't rattle!

I'm leaning more towards 107s but can't afford then yet as I've just had to pay for a new roof motor!
