New to the forum and hopefully somebody can help me.
I'm looking to buy a Z4(2011 335i) which has been imported from the US and is currently on UK plates. I would like to buy it for our Spanish holiday home and I will need to transfer the car on to Spanish plates. I have a few questions that I hope you can help me answer
- I'm guessing the lights have been changed to right hand side for it to pass the IVA and MOT process. Is there a switch on the back of the headlight or can it be changed via the on-board computer like some Audi. If not, do I need to buy some LHD headlights
- The mileage is currently shown in Miles. I really need to show the mileage in KMS. Can the display be changed to show KMS via the on-board computer?
- I'm not sure if I will also need to change the dials. Is it a simple process of buy some European dials/cluster to replace the US dials? Also will this effect the mileage reading or is the mileage stored on the ECU?
