Let there be light

Driving back home from Southend last night I noticed the bulb out warning appear (n/s headlight) going to tackle it this morning-how hard can it be........?

sometimes it a 5 min job sometimes 20 mins, its easier if you lift the car and turn the wheel , and a lead light helps as well.

Sorted out the bulb with no problems, it looked so past it's best with the black coating on the tip giving up the ghost I decided to replace the o/s as well so I have a matched pair :)
I had become fed up of looking at my water filled fog lights so drilled two, 2mm holes in each one which will hopefully let it dry out eventually-oh yeah I also clipped the front grill back onto the bumper clips as it had been detached since I brought it, maybe a car park bump?
Regards

Whereabouts did you drill the holes? My foglights seem to have acquired aquatic life forms within the primordial soup therein! (slight exaggeration)

I drilled two holes in each light on the underside of the lens, I used a hand drill as I thought it would be less unwieldy than an electric one-I left the lights in situ-it certainly can't make them any worse!
I had the same problem with an indicator on my Elise & the same treatment worked on that.
