Let me introduce you to……

That's someone's garage?! I though that was the showroom... :o

I'm not usually a black car person, but it would be my first choice on a G29 (until they make some more exciting colours available). Looks beautiful in blue though, enjoy the new car

Each to their own! I wish they offered more colours.
I love the frozen grey, but I was too scared about the maintenance.

If anyone knows of a wireless charger that will fit in that tray nicely then let me know.
Saying that, I could just stick to a cable when I need a charge.

I would suggest stick with the cable unless your phone is any kind of mutation of fruit 12 or fruit 13, in which case you can put a magsafe charger there.

The reason of suggesting stick with the cable is that the tray, even without wireless charging capability, is used as digital key reader to start the car (so, a NFC sender/receiver there). I know not everyone is interested in the tech but I have activated that and find it useful in some occasions. Also, if you put a third party wireless charger there, the tray will no longer limit the phone's movement when you drive so it's likely that the phone and the charger will go somewhere else.

Not quite. Digital key is deleted with wireless charging so I just have a deeper cavity there. No nfc there at all. :(
Didn’t think about using MagSafe. That could work.
Honestly though, the car is a weekend car and won’t be used that much with charger. Just wanted to have a nice option to dump phone in there and it charge.

My understanding is that the digital key is removed even with the comfort pack due to chip shortage, right? The wireless charging come with tech pack and digital key is part of comfort pack.

But anyway, I’m sticking with cable if I need to charge the phone but for majority of the time in the z4, I don’t charge at all.

TF it’s here

Congrats and enjoy every mile, and good choice in colour and spec :poke: you do know the blue ones are faster, right? :fuelfire:

Congratulations on getting your car at last ori.

I love that blue - looks like it was worth the wait!
