Ashby Folville Car and Bike Meets prove popular and are very well attended by all ages and spectrums of car/bike enthusiasts.

On the 2nd Tuesday of April through to September the meets take place (so to avoid the cold spells!)

July 9th
August 13th
September 10th

I've spoken to a couple of people, scooter and motor bike owners, who have been and they told me that now it gets so busy on nice evenings that you can't get within a mile of the village and has been totally spoilt.

Every 2nd week through the summer, generally on a Wednesday iirc, there's a great turn out at The Griffins Head pub, Moor Road, Papplewick, NG15 8EN

Ashby folville is only 2 villages away from where I live and yes, it does get crazy busy but if you get there from about 4.30pm it's fine. Arrive there at 6pm onwards, forget it. Oh, and dont expect to be able to leave the field until about 9pm either!

Tons of great cars to look at though and always a nice selection of food etc.

Yes agree on getting there early but never had a problem leaving.
