Looking at getting some LED sidelights to match up better with the xenons, I know there are many threads with queries etc, but I came across these and wondered if anyone had tried them in a Z:- being Cree leds they should me much brighter than the normal smd led sidelights, however hids direct say on the listing that despite being canbus they could still throw an error up!!?? and inlist there not compatible, but think its the vehicles age range thats throwing it out

The next choice is these from another thread:-

however the re-list has a pricing error at the moment (messaged them at its showing 96.29 instead of 6.29) also ordering a stubby .... ah got to love xmas time to treat yourself and the car lol :)

i use these in my 03 roadster, non xenon headlights, work fine no errors,

Cheers for that, had a look at the link and they look fine, may even order a set anyway for that price! - just wondered about those I 1st mentioned as being cree leds, the light output should in theory be great, and I wondered how they compare to several small smd leds on a board like the one you list in terms of output . I would order a few different ones but the fiddly nature of putting them in to test variants on a Z4 puts me off!!

Cheers Ste

they are brighter than what i expected, really white light, the old bulbs were very dull and yellow in comparison. took about 10 mins each side to fit and that included new dip beam bulbs. i'd take a pic but it's pi$$ing down at the moment. :(

Cheers - just ordered a set of those ones, £5.50 with up-graded delivery (1st class) cant be bad :) still wonder about the cree ones (got a cree torch last yr from Lidl, 1W Cree led bulb run from 2*aa batteries and the strength of the beam is unreal lol)

good choice i think, i chose them on price, i figured that if they didn't work or look right it was less than a fiver, almost :)

Fitted, and look good, though not as bright as I would have hoped for, but im hard to please lol
