LED Shift Knob

I’ve been thinking about replacing the stock shifter knob with an aftermarket LED. I think the look is pretty sharp. There seems to be loads of them on EBay with varying reviews. Mostly the reviews indicate they look nice, but feel cheap. Would anyone have any personal experience with a swap? Any recommendations for sources?

As you say they look nice in the pictures but I am not sure I want to put cheap tat or not so cheap tat in my BMW.
