LED number plate lights

I just had my LED’s delivered. They come with two different cables. Am I right in assuming it’s just a case of cutting the old connectors off and soldering the new ones on?

My LED number plate bulbs were just that - bulbs. I removed the original bulbs and fitted the LED replacements. Job done. Not sure what this talk of cables is I'm afraid!

Are they the 1 series ones? If so, I think I just cut the oem connector off and used some new ones I got from BMW.

Twist the old connectors out of the original light, take the bulb out and fit the new connector to where the old bulb went in.

I have the same LED lights.

As above I have same ones I was confused at first to but that's how it's done

The ones I got just plugged in.

I got those ones, they just plugged in for me, although the pins were very slightly out of line so it took a bit of fettling.

Nope, OE ones are single LEDs in each unit.
