LED number plate lights.... Which ones?

As the title suggests which are the favoured replacement lights; bulbs only or complete units?

I just used bulbs. They have been installed a couple of years now with no problems. E-Bay I think....

i have just fitted the complete units on my ZMR with the 18 leds built in they was £26 on ebay and they look stunning in the dark the whole floor at the rear is lite up I'm well pleased with them

Do you have any pics? Having the whole floor lit up sounds a bit like overkill but would be interested to see what it looks like.

I got a pair of the ones toe-slider linked to. It's worth a go for 99p delivered so if they are no go I'll have no issues going in favour of the full replacement.
