LED indicator bulbs

I found some Amber LED's on ebay - and was thinking they should work in the side indicators (under the side roundels)... anyone think of any potential issues?

figured I may as well convert the car completely to LED - only the indicators and tail lights left...

again can anyone confirm if these work / don't throw a bulb out warning?

I've never tried LEDs for the side indicators, but I have tried several different back-up indicator lights (white) and rear turn signal LEDs. None have worked. No bulb error message, it's just that the polarity is incorrect. and with this type of bulb, there is no way to change the polarity by inserting differently.

I'd love to hear of some for the rear that work....

Don't like LEDs on cars ... look at how stupid Audis look with them.

I dont think its the LED's that make Audi's look stupid :evil:

plus the new BMW are coming out with LED headlights, Angel Eye's, Tail lights and interior lights. they are the way of the future

The LED "look" is spot on. That`s what made the last E46 and 5 Series stand out from the crowd! That`s why most supercars have them!

It was Audi that bought the LED DRL look, and it suited them. untill the likes of the Koreans ruined the fad!

I wish somebody designed a full LED rear light for the Z4. I can just see the brakes lighting up, and the indicators doing so, look amazing IMHO!
