Have found my z4mc and pick it up on Saturday, can't wait :D ( they offered to deliver as its 80 miles away - but why should someone else get the fun)

I Saw 3 before this one. The car i'm going for has a great spec and i noticed that the upper and lower parts of the doors were leather as well as the inserts. Insert same colour as seats and upper lower are black. I don;t remember the other 3 having this, i think the top part of the door was just regular plastic like my old z4 roadster, similar to dash top, but now i'm wondering if i just hadn;t noticed.

Does anyone else have full leather door car, or just the middle insert

Andy

That is extended leather option, also covers sun visor etc.

I don't think it's that rare :P

I think it's rarer on the Roadsters actually, but yes there's a few well specced ones with Extended Nappa.

Yours is my favourite MC colour combo

I've got extended nappa on my roadster and have issues with the leather stretching on the seat.... I'm not impressed.

The nappa leather looks great but I doubt it would wear well with heavy use. I try to ease in and out without touching the side bolsters, don't wear denim jeans with belts, studs, even undo buttons on back pockets so they don't press into leather and keep a touch of polish on the driver's seat to reduce friction.

I could try loosing a few pounds as well but there's no need to become obsessive :)

It's easier for me to pay someone to retrim/reconnolise the seat than to lose weight.

Or pay someone to retrim the body as my missus keeps on threatening to do :poke:

I've got extended leather on mine. How much did the original owner pay for the luxury of that extra bit of cow and cotton then? :)
