LCI M40i with a manual gearbox?

Is this new information available? It was discussed on here at time of the release of info on the Lci but seemed to be no mention/intention for a manual in the U.K..
I went along to my supplying dealer for a look and chat re the lci and too have a look at the colours now offered.
Didn’t have a G29 but same colour on an 8 series, was nice in the metal

. For complete transparency I also showed her the skyscraper grey one behind it expecting that to be her choice, no hesitation, she said purple every time. I have to admit I was surprised at her choice and also the grey was nice and I’d have been happy with that if she’d preferred that. Daughter said yesterday she’s thinking about going back to university in September and son said he’s looking at buying first house this year (18 a couple of weeks ago) so funds availability may be slightly different than I thought 8 weeks ago :roll:
I was looking at the skyscraper grey... is that the light grey? Dont think I've seen that in the flesh yet either although I suspect it will look pretty good.
I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a darker grey, like the mineral grey. That and the shadow pack would look banging. (Appreciate it's a bit of a common colour though across the BMW range and I've always loved that combo and I am a bit boring). Not that I'm looking to change my car any time soon. It's not even run in yet!
But I am getting annoyed with all the tar blobs that I seem to be spending my life removing from the sides.

They always look great all polished and under bright lights. On a grey, misty day (which I know you get your fair share of) I can imagine some regret creeping in! Then there is the trying to sell it on at some point.
There has been an individual violet 4 series cab on the market for at least 8 months!

M40i can be driven pretty much as a manual in full sports settings. No auto change up, can hold gears, revs etc :driving:

Would not be interested in a manual but new colours would be interesting.
Saw the Isle of Man green on an M4 and think it would really suit the G29. Had seen some images online but the colour looks a little darker and better in real life.
The new purple I think is the opposite Images I like it but put off when I saw it up close.
