Made a mistake... it was ordered August, not September. Still, in the grand scheme of things, whats a month.

Yeah, it's not a great situation. I would be very wary about ordering anything from BMW at all. It's been (and seems like it continues to be) a complete mess. And you'll never get a straight answer on what is really going on.

Yeah, I'm liking the car - it's taken a while to zen out about it all. Terrible, terrible buying experience. Probably enough to never want to go there again.

I don’t have much defence for BMW, but all manufacturers have been awful. Production issues just kept getting worse with chip shortage and then Putin thought he would have some fun in the Ukraine.

My understanding is that things are getting better production wise.
