Afternoon all, just a quick photo I managed to grab whilst I was getting the wheels fixed on this morning, sorry for shaky cam effect I was knackered having carried the old wheels back into the house! Will follow this up with some proper pics on the SLR once the rain breaks and I can clean it up props. For now then a little preview NOW UPDATED MORE PICS ADDED BELOW! DSC00037-1.jpg

i was thinking about those matt black ones for sale on here but there a little rich for me after having refurbed and tyred my 108's recently.

will be good to see some with the SLR :thumbsup:
 
Well I had a blast in the Zed this weekend, drove down to a friend's pub in Dorset on Friday night, a clear road and an open top...all good until it rained, I couldn't stop on the M3 so I had to wait until the next turn off and it was chucking it down. It's surprising how you can counter rain with speed - as soon as we slowed down we got pretty wet! Luckily my girlfriend was on hand to capture the moment on film :D

Here's some pics I took after a clean up this afternoon, got to love the shine zaino gives the black. Hope you enjoy these, I couldn't find the cable for my camera so the iphone is the best camera I could come up with...

Tyre black is a step too far my friend, it has to stop somewhere! I'm really pleased with the CSL wheels, I think the ride is slightly improved and they just look that bit more special for an M car.

If you want to know the products I'm using z8 finishing spray to top up in between waxing with the z2 pro. I've heard that z5 goes well with dark colours but as you can see from the results there doesn't seem much wrong with the z2!
 
Ended up going back to my parents for easter and found some tyre black in the cupboard which my brother must have picked up, couldn't resist so now it's had the works. My dad now thinks I'm insane. I think he last washed a car when the John Major was prime minister :rofl:

:rofl: reminds me of an old boy used to drink in my local he had a morris marina from new and never washed it once :o thats what rain is for he used to say.

Keep up the good work with the tyre dressing that really finishes the job
