Latest iTunes update

After installing the latest update I was getting a MSVCR80.dll missing error when I start Windows and was unable to connect my iPhone 5. Appears there are plenty of bugs in the new update affecting Windows users so beware when prompted to update.

Apple forum was of help

I ended up having to
Go to Programs and Features and uninstall:
iTunes
Apple Application Support
Apple Mobile Device Support
Apple Software Update
Reboot. Download a fresh copy of iTunes

All working Ok now but a bit of a pain :(

Apple need to beta test a little more before releasing its updates.

lol I have both Tom, iPhone 5 and HTC One, Love using the HTC over the iPhone but I still prefer iTunes.

I also find for some strange reason my Iphone seems to stream music and radio via butooth to my Bose Soundlink much better than the HTC, so swings and roundabouts :|

Yes I must admit integration always seems better. Unfortunately even down to apps, big updates to spotify seem to take a while to filter through to android systems when it comes to integration with car Bluetooth systems.

Enjoy :D

Nah, they're just replicating what Microsoft has been doing with its updates for decades.

They probably assume windows users are used to it.

:P

So don't install just yet, thanks 4 heads up.

If the same bunch of muppets are working on the next IOS release, might be worth giving that a wide berth as well

You can try so long as you don't mind uninstalling everything lol Its no big deal just a pain as at first I wandered what was going on and spend an hour doing a system restore to no affect. It wasn't until I looked at the last update I twigged it was Apple again. All computer probs I've had have been down to iffy Apple updates :(
