Large gap between hood/bumper

Hello all,

I had my bumper off yesterday to change the lights and was hoping that I would be able to close the gap between the bumper and the hood once I re-fitted... Unfortunately it still doesn't look 100% despite pressing the bumper as far back as I could. Any suggestions on anything else I could try?

I'll try and get a photo to add at some point :)

What lights did you fit? Have you tried adjusting the bonnet too? My old 3.0 never looked quite right at the intersection of wing, bumper and bonnet.
 
I just fitted the standard lights to it as the lens on the old ones had melted (nothing to do with me lol)

Without the metal plate that the rubber weather strip attached to I could adjust the bumper as much as I liked but as soon as I fitted that it wouldn't budge!
 
Cheers, thought I should join and show my face after using the extremely useful guide on removing the bumper on here! :D
